The first impressions of new Leica Q2 Monochrom in Venice

Marc De Tollenaere November 12, 2020

Picture taken with the fantastic brand new Leica Q2 Monochrom. Iso 6400; 1/60s; f/6.3

This interior is very dark and, in order to keep the detail on the sculpture you see in front on the left, I needed a decent depth-of-field. This is why I decided to close the aperture at f/6,3, I was then obligated to raise the iso up to 6400, in order to use 1/60s. You can see the details and the sharpness in the little portion of the original file, enlarged 100%. This camera definitely allows the photographers in taking pictures in light conditions normally avoided.
